All-new Nissan Qashqai is revealed

This is the impressive, new Nissan Qashqai contract hire model that has just been unveiled.

The Qashqai is one of the best-selling SUVs in the UK and this third-generation impresses.

It's been refreshed with improved practicality, better safety technology and efficient engines.

However, the big attraction will be for the new hybrid powertrain that makes the Qashqai a cheap to run vehicle.

Qashqai created the move for crossovers

The Qashqai helped to create the move to crossovers when it was launched in 2007.

The new SUV has built on the predecessor's styling and the platform is slightly larger to create a more spacious cabin.

There is also a lot more legroom for those sitting in the rear seats.

Along with a new front end and slim LED headlights, there's also a 'floating' roof as part of the contrasting finish.

Drivers get to select from 11 exterior colours, plus five for the contrasting roof to generate 16 potential combinations.

Nissan Qashqai car lease

The entry-level Nissan Qashqai car lease has 17-inch alloy wheels, while the range-topper gets 20-inch alloy wheels.

But the biggest change is in the cabin for its excellent styling and great design ideas.

The infotainment display is now located on top of the dashboard and the air-conditioning controls are featured below it.

The infotainment system consists of a nine-inch touchscreen with better graphics and sharper resolution.

Drivers also get Nissan's connected services which will offer weather information and nearby fuel prices.

Engines for the new Qashqai

The engines for the new Qashqai are petrol only now that the carmaker has dumped diesel from its offering.

There's the well-established petrol 1.3-litre turbocharged unit that now has mild-hybrid technology.

The engine delivers 138 bhp or 156 bhp and torque of 270Nm.

All-wheel drive is an option, and most models have front-wheel drive.

Nissan Qashqai leasing range

The highlight of the Nissan Qashqai leasing range is the new hybrid called 'e-Power' which will attract lots of attention.

It uses a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol unit and an electric motor to deliver a combined power output of 184 bhp and torque of 330Nm.

The official economy and emissions figures still have to be confirmed but the e-Power will probably be the most fuel-efficient choice.

Drivers also get to use the firm's one-pedal driving system which is easy to pick up and is used for accelerating and decelerating the car.

The new Nissan Qashqai is an impressive offering, and it is likely to be a popular choice to remain in the UK's bestselling car chart.
